Babar Cafe

Such a unique cafè! The decor is the real highlight, right from the Babar statues as you walk in to the funky items on the walls, ceiling, bar tops and even in the toilets. They have a great range of cafè style food and some fancy drinks to wash it down with Definitely recommend if you head to Noumea!!

Such a gem! Loved the vibe, the decor, the staff, the food! It's seated right on the Baie de Citrons and one can watch the sunset from here. But the interior is much more interesting, trust me! We were seated on one end and the table next to us was a smoking table, so we asked to be moved. The server moved us right away to the "royal" section - we sat on big, elaborate arm chairs on a cute, unique coffee table. The food and drinks are really good! The Tostadas are delicious! I tried a few of their mocktails and they all were delicious! Don't miss Babar Cafe!

Wonderful cafe located opposite the Bay of Lemons. Nice range of tasty meals and drinks throughout the day, all at a reasonable price. Staff are all very friendly, and the interior is funky!

Staying in lemon bay this was our nightly sunset watching spot from the comfort of big plush arm chairs. Such a vibe As it turns out this place also has great breakfasts! Ordered Le Zephyr & the French toast both were DELICIOUS & served as ample portions. Would definitely spend a sunset or a breakfast sesh here again

A must to visit, the staff are fantastic , . Lulu was such a honey and a help to us. The atmosphere is incredible , you have to see to believe. Based on Barbar the elephant with a load more fun added, it's a scream. Lovely food and outlook to Lemon Bay. Will keep going as it's totally worth it. love it

Babar Cafe is located right opposite Lemon Beach which is one of the most famous beaches in Noumea. The vibes are so great and the place is full of various artistic items, not only related to the Babar series. The walls are painted nicely. Even their toilets had that artistic touch. The food is generally snacks. We had milkshakes and waffles with ice cream. It was good and the waffles were fresh. Not the frozen ones. A great place to hang out looking at the beach!!
